Ajedrez

En otras ocasiones ya os he comentado que los juegos de mesa me parecen muy adecuados como herramienta educativa y socializadora. En las últimas semanas se ha despertado un interés en el grupo por el ajedrez. Me gustaría recomendaros este libro, contiene propuestas de juego más sencillas e ideales para aprender a jugar. En clase hemos practicado la batalla de peones (solo participan los peones y la victoria se consigue de tres formas posibles: alcanzando el extremo opuesto del tablero; capturando todos los peones del contrincante; haciendo que el oponente se quede sin movimientos.
Para hoy os traigo una propuesta para practicar con la torres:

Partiendo de esta disposición los jugadores deberán de capturar los peones del contrincante. Solamente pueden moverse las torres (horizontal y verticalmente), los peones permanecerán inmóviles. Vence aquel que consigue capturar todos los peones del oponente en primer lugar.

Para aquellos que no cuenten con ajedrez en casa os animo a hacer uno vosotros mismos. Si realizáis una búsqueda en google con "ajedrez cartón DIY" encontraréis varias propuestas e ideas. También podéis desde simplemente dibujar las fichas en círculos de cartón. Otra opción es acceder a esta web donde podéis mover las piezas libremente y crear situaciones como la de arriba planteada. Si utilizáis el móvil podéis encontrar la aplicación gratuita DroidFish Chess, que permite editar el tablero.

Football rules

Information

• A match consists of two 45 minutes halves with a 15 minute rest period in between.

• The field of play must be between 90 and 120 meters long (100-131 yards) and between 45 to 90 meters wide (49-98 yards). 

• Each team have 11 players (including 1 goalkeeper who is the only player allowed to handle the ball within the penalty area)

• The ball must have a circumference of 58-61cm and be of a circular shape.

• Each team can name up to 7 substitute players. Substitutions can be made at any time of the match with each team being able to make a maximum of 3 substitutions per side.

• The following soccer equipments are required of each player: a shirt, shorts, socks, shin guards, and football boots. 

• Each game must include one referee and two assistant referee’s (linesmen). It’s the job of the referee to make any decisions which may need to be made such as fouls, free kicks, throw ins, penalties and added on time at the end of each half.

• The whole ball must cross the goal line for it to constitute as a goal.

• For fouls committed a player could receive either a yellow or red card.. The yellow is a warning and a red card is a dismissal of that player. Two yellow cards will equal one red. Once a player is sent off then they cannot be replaced.

• If a ball goes out of play off an opponent in either of the side lines then it is given as a throw in. If it goes out of play off an attacking player on the base line then it is a goal kick. If it comes off a defending player it is a corner kick.
